oön is not just a name. It is our mission, spelled out in three words:
- The first "o" comes from optimus, which in Latin means "the best" the best product, formulated without compromise.
- The second "ö" comes from origo, which in Latin means "source" the best source, traceable and verified.
- The "n" comes from natura, because we strive to provide products as close to nature as possible, free from unnecessary additives.
The two dots above the second ö are not decorative. They are our quiet emphasis on how central origin and purity are to everything we do.
Every decision we make, every ingredient, every supplier, and every batch is measured against these three principles. Is it oön approved? That is what we are building. That is what we are looking to bottle and offer to you.
we didn’t start as a supplement company. We started as skeptics.
We found ourselves standing in supplement aisles asking the same question over and over: Is this actually a real product? Does this actually work? Will we discover in ten years that it was a scam — or worse, that it wasn’t pure and instead of helping the body it quietly harmed it?
We couldn’t find a reliable answer. So, as doers, we decided to build one.
We brought together investors, scientists, formulators, and researchers with one mandate: create a supplement brand where the answer to “is this real?” is always yes provably, verifiably, unconditionally yes. Third-party tested on every batch. No fillers. No shortcuts. No guessing.
the idea behind oön
Our founder, Carlos J. Tilly, is an entrepreneur who went from “fat kid” to athletic senior and never looked back. Years of competing, building companies, and pushing the body to its limits led to a simple but profound realization: the earth where our food is grown today is not providing the same rich environment that our ancestors’ food enjoyed. Soil is depleted. The life we are living is quietly working against us, weakening us as never before. Microplastics. Contamination. Water impurity. Chronic stress.
Then one day, after reading Yuval Noah Harari’s Homo Deus where he forecasts human lifespans stretching between 150 and 500 years, our bodies repaired like vintage cars it was the moment to act. If we are going to live that long, we need to start nurturing our bodies for a much longer trip.
